Flash can crash too if you trace a bitmap and put the minimum area and color threshold values very small. It takes forever to trace 'em. And if you start doing something it crashes. :)
In 3dsmax the polygon count is what makes the computer slow and crash. On this picture I have a 6924 faces and everythings fine. But when it reaches 20000 it's very slow.

This is Off-Topic, sorry about that, but this is the best forum i could think of to ask this:
My father-in-law is visiting us from India, and he is thinking of driving a car here. He drives in India and I think in a couple of weeks (with maybe 2-3 classes with some instructor) he should get the hang of driving. Are there any risks that anyone knows of with this? (if he makes a mistake and ends up in an accident I understand that we end up being personally liable and can even be sued if there is an injured party).

In general a person with a valid visa can drive in the U.S. provided the person is in possession of a valid drivers license. However, if he is not on your insurance policy added as a driver and causes an accident, your insurance company is not liable and can refuse to pay the costs. If he is to drive your car, ask your insurance agent about this.

Hello,
Last November I quit my job in the US and left the country as well. Two days ago, I received an email saying my 485 is approved, and card production was ordered. The card will go to an address in the US where someone can forward me the mail.
What should I do? Try to enter the U.S. with the card? What to say to POE officials? WIll I be questioned?

Once you get your green card, you are supposed to go work for the company who applied for your green card or work in a same or similar job. So it is good to have a job offer in hand. Talk to an Attorney on what are the potential questions at POE as you have been out of the country for a long time.

Guys,
I am proposing a "IV Annual Meet", Not all of IV need to meet in one place, but all the state chapters can meet in their local states on this one day. We should make this a annual affair. ATLEAST, we should meet once a year. It should be for a whole day, 10 - 5. Every one who wants to visit can RSVP, we can do it in a grand way with lunch etc...we can cover the expenses with a donation of $25 per person .
When ?
First Saturday of November ? This way we do not disturb people's summer time vacations.
How does this help ?
First, it will help to meet State members face to face.
We can invite distinguished people to our meeting to give a speech, so we get press coverage.
We can decide our next steps.
Basically we can do a lot.
We can do some voting too. I (lot of other IVans too) have always wanted to change our groups name to "LegalImmigrationVoice", (no offense to the people who coined this name, they have started a organisation that all Legal Immigrants are benefited, they should find a place in US history books ! :) ) so we do not give the benefit of doubt to anyone that we represent ill-legal immigrants also.
Every one please share your thoughts as what we can do in this annual meet.

I just switched to a new employer using AC21. Can I file for my EB2 and then interfile AOS ?.
I understand that we need to file new Labor and I140. What happens at I485 ?. Do we need to revoke the current I485 and then apply for a new one. What will be status at that point and what will happen to the EAD ?.

One of the options as I understand is that she could travel back as soon as the PD's are announced and if we know that the PD will be current in the next month. At this point she could file her I485.
My question is about what the options are if she is unable to make it back to the US in time. i.e. she is outside the US and my I485 is approved which means she cannot travel back on the H4 (as its not valid). What are the timelines we will have to deal with if she has to stay outside the US to have her I485 equivalent filed through a consulate? i filed my labor 7 years ago as a programmer, today i am a project manager. I have changed job using ac21 twice, did not inform uscis even once (as its not reqd by law). I am in eb3 india and I have no hopes that uscis will ever get to my application, and even if they did after 5 years from now, I dont care if they issue an RFE and deny my 485 all together. Point I am trying to say is , you cannot spoil your career waiting for this. I changed my job exactly on 6 months and one day after i filed 485. past 2 years i am a PM. I am pretty confident that I would have had atleast 5 years PM experience by the time they reach my application or even more time. After all I want to go back to my home country pretty soon and so did not want to care about all this job title, description etc crap..this is just me..use your own instincts.

I wonder what is the need of such crap from these airlines? Why not fly directly when service is available. Racism in Europe is a known fact and is evident everywhere. Best is to boycott their service and they will realize the result. Until people start doing it on massive scale they will not provide proper service.

As per my understanding, extension will be given if and only if :
Either Labor is pending for more than 365 days or Labor and I-140 is approved.
If Labor is pending for more than 365 days, one year extension is approved and if Labor and I-140 is approved, three year extension is approved.

As she yet to file 485, it is important for her to keep the valid non-immigrant status till she files AOS. Yes, she can go for F1, if you plan to use EAD and abandon your non-immigrant status. Unless your H1 transfer is approved, her H4 will not get extended. Therfore don't worry about the extension. File F1 ASAP,
