I brought toyota camry from a dealer in NY state last year feb/2010 on (toyota) finance, the dealer only asked me for my driver lience and ssn. he took copy of driver licence and ssn. nothing ask or talk about my immigration status etc, etc...
looking at me my friend (working with me) brought brand new toyota camry same month feb/2010 from PA dealer with 0% apr for 5 yrs. he also shown and given photo copy his driver licence and ssn.
myself and my friend both are on h1b visa.
this could be possibly happen because of private financing (toyota finance) not bank...

Your current employer experience has to be prior to your labor filing date (PD). You can not use the experience you got after the filing date.
You can use your experience with current employer if the future job is substantially different than your current job.

I will apply for extension based on your labor certificate for one year, if your i140 is denied your extension is still valid and you can refile i140.
To me applying for extention is covering your risk...better safe then sorry especially due to some body elses fault.
What if you donot apply and you donot get EAD by Jan 08, you can still stay legally but wont be able to work without EAD.

I hate the fact, we let ourselves be discussed amongst the ILLEGAL immigration pool. We are not here illegally, there is no reason we should call this "GC for sale". We are helping the govt. by not just words but with our $$$.
We are here legally , paying taxes, paying rents etc. This fee is meant to speed up processing. No other terminology should be used at IV. Let anti-immigrants talk what they want.
Please remember, at any point there are always opposing forces at work. For those anti-immigrants I have no time or energy to ponder on there xenophobic reservations.

2. In substitution labor that person was having 4 years of Bachelor degree and I have 3 years of bachelor degree, lawyer said there is a chance for get approval for I-140 based on substitution labor.

Congressman Marty Meehan is Fifth Congressional District of Massachusetts He does not support the CIR but he do support the elimination of backlog of GC. He is a member of both the House Armed Services and Judiciary Committees.

This proves that the faxes sent via the webfax features are actually reaching the senators. I received a reply from Senator Specter's office too.
As far as the content of the replies goes, this proves again that to a lot of lawmakers, immigration = ILLEGAL immigration. It is upto us to educate them of our plight too.

You can ask the liaision for a meeting too. We have all the necessary resources you need for such a meeting on our resources website. The CA team has been successfully using these resources. And please update this thread too so that others may learn from you

But here is the key point when one uses EAD uscis doesnt outright know what status he is in as he just signs I-9 form which is just with employer. so weigh your options but to be safe once taking up EAD means done with H1b

However, an H-1 or L-1 nonimmigrant will violate his/her nonimmigrant status is s/he uses the EAD to leave the employer listed on the approved I-129 petition and engage in employment for a separate employer.22 (Emphasis in original).
AILA believes that a nonimmigrant who �moonlights� pursuant to an EAD has not �left� his or her employer, and thus is still maintaining proper status. AILA requests USCIS to confirm that, in the case of an H-1B or L-1 nonimmigrant, present in the United States under a valid petition in either classification, who moonlights pursuant to an EAD, still maintains his H-1B or L-1 status.
