I mean, yeah, but it's not worth worrying about. Maybe if you reformat 10 times a day...but how many times are you really going to do it...
You could argue that opening and closing your Macintosh HD could create more wear and tear on the HD than letting it sit.
On the iMac, you can replace the HD though, so if worst comes to worst, and it's out of warranty, you can just but a new one.

If think if you hold down a button (either esc, shift, control, option or command:D) when you select shut down it wont come up. I dont remember which button it is and dont really want to experiment;)

PS2, not PSP... and wouldnt a mini PS2 have the same size cds so that all the games that have been released to date are compatible. Although, with my experience, burnt media will usually not play in playstations, burnt cds are simply a no go, and burnt dvds are a toss up.

but, no. i do know that psp's will have a small disc form-factor. all i've really heard about it is that and that even so, they will hold more than a PS2 disc.

CPU Mark: 7658.1/7859.7
2D Mark: 786.9/797.2
3D Mark: 1205.2/1198.5
Memory Mark: 1227.3/1330.7
Disk Mark: 980.9/704.5
Only interesting result was the Disk Mark. I haven't changed any drivers, clocks or windows updates from 1 day to the next, so I'm not sure what this sharp in disk could be attributed too.

One part says "For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the �time of purchase� may extend from the day of your Mac purchase until the end of Apple�s 14-day return period".
I guess it still implys that I need to purchase the computer from Apple and only Apple, but that I have two weeks to purchase the 1 to 1.

way , way wayyyyyyyyyyy too early to tell, iPad2 is a whole new device, new processor, new firmware (with new drivers to support the new devices), new interfaces, new internal devices, most of drivers are going to be updated, HDMI out support, so all those changes mean that pretty much anything we curretnly have is pretty much useless, until someone can get their hands on it and on the 4.3 GM release, there isn't much work that can be done.
