Why don't you try one of these many jailbreaks you have "seen online" instead of posting this ridiculous thread, you could even use the search option, I would go as far as to say that it would be front page news on macrumors if it had happened anywhere other than in your imagination!

Just buy one now. Rumours are pointing towards a Q4 or Q1 2012 release. No point in waiting that long. The iPhone 4 is a great device, get the white one if you want to be different. :D

Seems like you just answered your own question, if your server is multi-honed you should be able to just configure your applications to only listen on specific interfaces. So set apache to only listen on X.X.X.X:80 and ruby http server on the other IP :8080.

Yes, life suck many times and sometimes is something so good and is hard to keep it that way because it feel we are walking at the edge of a hill with two huge clif on the sides.

When I saw the movie The Matrix I never actually undertood what the kid said about the spoon "The spoon does not blend, is you". And now by experience I realize we are the ones that can amke our world change by changing ourselves, the world won't change for us.
The world is there and is going to be doing the same things but we have to have our eyes wide open to tell how things work.
I am going back to Venezuela, to see if I can find Iliana again, to see if she feel like there is something. The bets are that she will keep going on her way and I will be on mine but at home where I move like a fish in the water.

Any opinions for my new SSD?

Intel 320 Series 300gb
As far as I can see, I've gathered the following:
Intel:
Slightly better track record (MTBF)
More expensive
Frequently backordered
Slightly slower in most benchmarks than the Crucial
Offers a Mac ISO for firmware upgrades
Crucial:
I don't really know much about it...
Bit cheaper than the Intel
Bit faster
Smaller capacity
While I'm here, I'll ask another question. I intend on doing a clean install on my SSD (as opposed to cloning my current drive). Do I need the upgrade kit? Or, can I order an OEM version (they're less frequently backordered)? Will I be missing any screws or cases or useful/vital instructions?

i bought myself an Logitech V500 a few months back to accompany my future Powerbook. apart from the wireless USB thing its perfect. but its sooo small and i think it has the highest DPI for any infrared mouse too, but dont quote me on that (and that was back in october).
ive had it since october, use it every single day for an hour approx and the battery is still in 'good' rating! i never knew wireless mice were so battery-friendly. man i bought 8 AAA batteries expecting it to eat through them but at this rate these will last me till a G5 PB ;)
logitech are very good with mice. kudos to them
oh and subl1me; its an amazing mouse, probably wouldnt use it for desktop PC/Mac use but for portables... yea... highly recommended.

It is very easy to jb 4.2.1 now. The improvements to the OS certainly make it worthwhile as does the ability to run all the latest apps. Virtual memory hack is no longer required.

Its now 9.50 and the queue is forming well infront of the Apple store,touchwood. I have heard rumours abound that white models are limited and iPad stock isn't as many here as the bigger london stores, so if your planning to be a late comer cancelled your meetings, leave work early or just cry off ill, because your going to be waiting in line a long time and your going to be very angry if stock has gone. people started turning up near 6.30am and the line is getting bigger.

Honestly you'd be better off buying an intel mac mini, even the oldest intel one you could find would be better than the Powermac.
If you don't want to do that though, choose the Powermac. These things last forever so you won't need to replace the computer for a long time.
Only if it was an Intel Core 2 Duo based Mac Mini, since it looks like the Intel Core Duo Minis are being left behind with Lion, and they only just about equal most G5s anyway. Personally Id go with either a Core 2 Duo Mini, or a PowerMac G5 Air-Cooled <2.5Ghz I believe... since IIRC the 2.3s pretended to be but werent liquid cooled. Dual PowerPC G5s at 2.0/2.3 Ghz will still have some number crunching power for a while yet.

Why not just update to 4.3? Unless you have your 3.1.3 SHSH blobs saved, you can't restore to an older firmware.

I had recently installed the trial version of My3G mainly to use for Skype & Facetime and had noticed battery life was really being effected (without use of said apps), then I started to notice the remnants of a banner advertisement at the top of the screen when unlocking and switching between apps, after uninstalling I am not seeing those ads any longer so I assume it was My3G doing it.
First question, has anyone else noticed these background ads? Second question, if you purchase My3G does it still do that?

I'm not convinced about the graphics yet and it's a shame you can't play old Gameboy games on it (only advance). Not a fan of the stylus, but I'll keep a look out on ebay for a bargain. Is there any info on this new console?
Not really. Nintendo is as secretive as Apple, but usually better at preventing leaks, so there's pretty much nothing. The only known facts so far are that it will be shown at E3 (June 15th), will be compatible with the DS and DSi, and that it will have an autostereoscopic 3D display, which is why it's called 3DS.
Everything else is just speculation, more or less grounded in reality. It seems like it'll have at least one analog stick and two different displays (a 16x9 display, probably a high resolution parallax barrier display manufactured by Sharp that might or might not be multitouch, and a 4x3 display, probably a non-3D stylus driven touchscreen), and it supposedly has very good graphics for a handheld device, possibly well above PSP levels. It might have a Virtual Handheld service that allows you to download and play Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games. But those are only rumors.
